Black Friday lands on Friday 27 November 2026, with Cyber Monday following on 30 November. The "early Black Friday" badges are already up, and plenty of robot vacuums, mowers and smart speakers carry a big red percentage next to the price. Some of those are real bargains. Others are a normal price dressed up against an RRP nobody pays.
The quickest way to tell the difference is to ignore the RRP and look at what the product has actually sold for. That's what this guide does. For each pick we've set today's Amazon UK price against its tracked price-history low and high, then given a plain verdict: buy now, wait or avoid. We'll update it as prices move towards the big weekend.
Robot vacuums
Eufy X10 Pro Omni
Our favourite all-rounder in our best robot vacuums guide is £399 on Amazon UK today, shown as 33% off a £599 RRP with a countdown timer. It's sold by AnkerDirect UK (Eufy's parent company) and dispatched by Amazon. Argos and Eufy's own store match it at £399.
That's a genuinely good price. It's well below the roughly £449 it reached around Black Friday 2025, and Amazon's own lowest on camelcamelcamel was £579. But PriceRunner shows Eufy selling it for £349 on 6 October 2026, only a few weeks ago. With that price so recent, we'd hold out for £349 over Black Friday. If you need a robot this week, £399 is still a fair price.
Check price on Amazon ↗US note: the X10 Pro Omni is no longer sold on Amazon.com. Eufy has replaced it with newer models there.
iRobot Roomba Plus 505 Combo
This one looks like a bargain at "-42%", but the Amazon UK listing (ASIN B0DWG127RY) is sold by a third-party marketplace trader, KSM Retail Hub, not by Amazon or iRobot. Only one was left in stock when we checked, and the listing is rated 3.4 out of 5 from 394 ratings. We liked the robot itself in our vacuum guide, but we wouldn't buy it from this listing. Wait for it to come back from Amazon or iRobot's own store, or pick the Eufy above.
US note: the cheapest new offer on Amazon.com is $709.99, also from a third-party seller. iRobot's own store had a used "like new" unit for $429.99.
Robot mowers
Eufy E15
The wire-free E15 (800m² with garage) is £1,098.99 on Amazon UK, sold by AnkerDirect UK and shown as 27% off a £1,499 RRP. Currys is £1,099. That's about £400 below its high and lower than the £1,199 it was in mid-November last year.
But the E15 has already dropped to £998.99 (Eufy, 28 April 2026), and Joybuy is selling it for £999 right now on an offer that PriceRunner says runs until 8 November. You won't need a mower until spring, so there's no rush. Either take the £999 offer or wait for Amazon to match it over Black Friday. At £1,098.99 we'd wait.

Makeblock mBot2
The mBot2 is a proper step up for children who have outgrown screen-free toys: it codes in Scratch and Python and has Wi-Fi built in. It's £131.12 on Amazon UK, sold by Makeblock UK and dispatched by Amazon. That's within about £10 of its lowest tracked price (£120.98 on 20 October 2026), and below the lowest PriceRunner has recorded at any other UK retailer (£160.78). Amazon's own lowest price when it sold the mBot2 itself was £144.49. This is a good price for a Christmas present. We'd buy now rather than gamble on a few pounds more off. See our best coding robots for kids for alternatives.
Check price on Amazon ↗US note: $127.99 on Amazon.com against a $159.99 list price.
Learning Resources Botley 2.0 (78-piece set)
Botley is our go-to screen-free coding robot for ages five and up. The UK listing we track is the 78-piece kit with cards and obstacles, sold by Amazon at £77.65. That's almost exactly its long-run average of about £78, so it isn't a deal. Its lowest tracked price, £52.99, came on 18 November 2021, right in Black Friday season. We'd wait and see if it drops below £60.
Check price on Amazon ↗US note: in the US the same ASIN is the larger Activity Set ($99.99). The core Botley 2.0 is $63.44, against a $35.99 low and a $79.99 list price.
AI gadgets and subscriptions
Amazon Echo Dot (5th gen, 2022 model)
This is the clearest example of why price history matters. The Echo Dot is £79.99 on Amazon UK today, which is its highest price on record. In sales it has repeatedly been about £30: John Lewis had it at £29.99 on 29 September 2026, and Very sold it for £29.95 the week before Black Friday last year. Amazon's own lowest was £21.99 in November 2023. Don't buy it at full price now. Wait for Black Friday.
Check price on Amazon ↗US note: also at its high of $79.99 on Amazon.com. It fell to $22.99 on 20 November 2024.
Alexa+
Amazon's new AI version of Alexa isn't something you need to buy on Black Friday. According to Amazon UK's Echo pages, buying a compatible Echo gets you free Early Access. When Early Access ends (with at least 30 days' notice), Alexa+ stays free for Prime members. Everyone else will be able to pay £19.99 a month, and it won't auto-renew. If you have Prime, you already have it. If you don't, there's no reason to pay until Early Access ends.
Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 smart glasses
Meta's camera glasses aren't currently available from Amazon UK. The Gen 2 Wayfarer listing there says "currently unavailable", so we can't give a UK Amazon price. On Amazon.com they're $379, sold by Amazon, close to their $379.99 high and above the $321.99 low (15 May 2026). The newer Gen 3 is now on sale, which usually pushes the older model down. UK buyers can find them at optical retailers: PriceRunner's cheapest was £387, against a tracked low of £280.93 from Meta in August. Wait.
