Who we are
The site is written and run by a small independent team in the English Midlands. It started from a simple frustration: robotics and AI news is everywhere, but most of it is either hype or written for engineers. We wanted somewhere that explains what actually happened, why it matters, and what it might mean for ordinary people in the UK.
What we cover
Humanoid and service robots, self-driving cars and robotaxis, warehouse and industrial automation, new AI models and the companies behind them, and the rules and safety questions that come with all of it. Alongside the news, we review robot kits, home robots and AI gadgets, tested hands-on.
How we work
Every article is written by us, in our own words, and links to the original sources so you can check the facts yourself. If we get something wrong, we correct it. No brand pays for coverage or sees a review before it's published, and anything we were sent for free is clearly labelled.
How the site is funded
The site is free to read. Some links are affiliate links, which earn us a small commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. In future we may also show advertising. Neither affects what we write.
