The short version
The American robots you have heard of are mostly not for sale. The Chinese ones are, and some can be ordered from UK retailers today: the cheapest walking humanoid in Britain is the Unitree R1 Air at about £4,800, and a Unitree G1 costs roughly £17,000–£21,000. Nothing from Tesla, Figure, Boston Dynamics, Agility, Apptronik or 1X can be bought by UK customers today. None of these robots is ready to do your housework.
